Manhunt hunt continues for alleged shooter Julian Ingram after three people killed in Lake Cargelligo
A manhunt is underway in NSW’s Central West after a man allegedly shot three people, including his pregnant ex-partner.
Emergency services were called to Bokhara Street in Lake Cargelligo at around 4.30pm on Thursday following reports of a collision.
Two people, a 25-year-old pregnant woman and a 32-year-old man believed to be the attacker’s former partner, were found with gunshot wounds inside a car.
Both were pronounced dead at the scene.
Shortly thereafter, reports emerged of shots fired on Walker Street, where police found the bodies of a 50-year-old woman and a wounded 19-year-old man in the driveway.
While the woman died at the scene, the young man was hospitalized and his condition was stated to be serious but stable.

Assistant Commissioner Andy Holland said today that the attack may have been a domestic violence incident and all the victims could be linked to the perpetrator.
“It appears to be a domestic violence incident,” he said.
“At this stage it appears that all the victims are related to the offender and that is the route our investigations will take at this point.”
Independent MP Roy Butler said in a post on social media that the attack was “a terrible situation for Lake Cargelligo”.
“They are a close-knit community and these tragic events will be felt by everyone here, as well as throughout NSW and Australia,” he wrote.
Mr Butler confirmed that one of those killed in the attack was a pregnant woman.
“We don’t have all the details yet, but it is devastating to confirm that three people, including a pregnant woman, have died,” he wrote.
Town locked down as manhunt continues
A massive manhunt is underway to locate the attacker, whom police have identified as 37-year-old Julian Ingram, also known as Pierpoint.
While police teams continued their search efforts, citizens were instructed to stay in their homes.
Online, residents said their “quiet” and “beautiful” town had been shaken by the incident.
“Lake Cargelligo is the best little town on the planet,” one person wrote.
“Usually very calm and friendly.”
While the capture of the alleged attacker continued, businesses had to close their doors.
An IGA Lake Cargelligo spokesperson wrote online: “We have been advised by NSW Police to keep businesses closed until further notice due to recent events in the city and the ongoing investigation.”
“The safety of our staff, customers and community is our top priority, and we thank you for your understanding and cooperation during this time.”
Ingram is described as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander in appearance, 165 to 170cm tall and of medium build.
He was last seen driving in a Ford Ranger vehicle registered NSW DM-07-GZ.
The vehicle features municipal signs, a metal tray back, high-visibility markings on the side and an emergency light bar on the roof.
Anyone who sees Ingram is asked not to approach him and instead call Triple-0 immediately.
