Jack Grealish: Everton winger’s Premier League player of the month award ‘just the start’

After the first release of Premier League for Aston Villa in May 2014, Grealish made 193 matches in the competition and won the title three times with Manchester City.

Before joining Everton, two assists in the same Premier League match had given twice before.

Grealish is the first Everton player to record more than one assists in consecutive Premier League matches, and Toffees has the chance to be the first third when he hosts the former club villa at 15:00 BST on Saturday.

After a public vote with a football experts panel, he took part in a short list of eight people.

Moyes said that Grealish’s return to the UK team before the next Summer World Cup was a “big motivation” and that their performance at the beginning of the season left a pointer.

“I don’t choose the UK team and I’m happy to not like it because I have a very good players,” Everton boss added.

“They played really well against Serbia, really good performances, so Jack has to continue to play well for us to come before them.”
