Euro 2025: Wales team bus involved in crash on way to training
Wales’ Euro 2025 team bus, before the matches against France, Arena st Gallen’deki training session was involved in an accident.
Wales Football Association (FAW), all the players and staff on the bus did not harm, but the hospital was taken to the driver of another vehicle, he says.
Wales training session, which was planned to be held at the stadium on Tuesday, was canceled as a result of the accident, but the head coach Rhian Wilkinson’s squad was trained at the team base in Weinfelden, about 30 minutes from St Gallen.
Wilkinson and Captain Angharad James were not on the bus because they traveled separately to attend the Wales’ news conference before the Group D game on Wednesday.
“Everyone is fine,” Wilkinson said at a press conference.
“Our priority will bring them all together and remove them from the scene.
“This is really developing right now, so we’re trying to be as clear and transparent as possible.
“I think everyone is better than all reports, and we just need to bring together all of them and get everyone away from the scene to re -evaluate them.
“More importantly, I think the driver of the other vehicle is also good. We will know everyone when we know for sure.”
FAW, players “to complete the preparations for tomorrow’s match Cymru Education Base” he added.
In a statement, the Swiss police confirmed that a person was taken to hospital after the accident.
