Sarah Ferguson pictured in Epstein files as bombshell photos released | Royal | News

A photo of Sarah Ferguson sitting on a couch was published without context in the Epstein files. It was also released by the US government, along with numerous photos of corridors, wardrobes, and including photos of Bill Clinton appearing to enjoy a hot tub.
The photographs do not imply any allegations of criminal activity.
In September, an email the former Duchess of York sent to her “supreme friend” Jeffrey Epstein was made public. Following allegations that the Duchess emailed Epstein, her spokesperson said she had “fallen for his lies” and said she had only sent the email to avoid a libel threat.
Her ex-husband Andrew has denied any wrongdoing regarding her meeting with convicted sex offender Epstein.
A spokesman for Sarah said in September: “The Duchess expressed her regret over her relationship with Epstein years ago and, as always, her first thoughts were with his victims. Like many people, she was caught up in his lies.”
They continued: “As soon as she became aware of the extent of the allegations against him, he not only ceased communication but also publicly condemned her to the point of threatening to sue her for libel for associating him with pedophilia.
“He does not recant anything he said at the time. This email was sent in the context of advice for the duchess to try to placate Epstein and his threats.”
In addition to Andrew losing his titles and dignity, including his peerage, for his connection to Epstein, Sarah also lost her York title and her involvement with various charities.
Some of the charities included Natasha Allergy Research Foundation, Julia’s Home, Breast Cancer Prevention, Teenage Cancer Foundation, Children’s Literacy Charity, National Trust for Retired Service Animals and the British Heart Foundation.
Sarah was photographed attending her granddaughter Athena’s christening in London last week.
The disgraced former couple, who arrived separately from Andrew, attended the ceremony along with their daughters Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie.
