Indian Navy key to power projection and regional stability: Vice Admiral Deshmukh

India is among a few countries that can design and build various warships and submarine species, while Grse has become one of the country’s leading defense shipyards and has a unique distinction of building more than 110 warships.
The first ship of the Arnala class was assigned on June 18, 2025 and the second ship was planned in August 2025. Warship, the navy’s underwater area awareness, anti -submarin war and mines will increase the abilities.
GRSE President-Cum-Managing Director Commodore (RETD.) PR HARI, ‘Ajay’ ship, each of the GRSE and a sister Tershane by two shipyards for the navy was built by two shipyards, he said. “I am sure that Grse offers a century warship to the Indian Navy in a decade, with the expectation of many more orders for the Indian Navy and many more orders for warships.” Mr. Hari said.
In accordance with the maritime tradition, Mr. Deshmukh’s wife, Priya Deshmukh, launched the ship. The Indian Navy and GRSE senior officials were present for the event.
