Russia sends horror threat to strike 1 European country sparking WW3 | World | News

During a discussion on Russian state television’s 60 Minutes program, Russian lawmaker Alexey Zhuravlyov warned that Moscow would be ready for the potential delivery of Tomahawk missiles and said it could target the Polish military center of Rzeszów in response.

The possibility of Ukraine acquiring Tomahawk missiles with a range of 1,550 miles was discussed in the program. Recently, Volodymyr Zelensky demanded that Donald Trump sell the missiles to European countries, which then sell them to Ukraine. Trump has not made a final decision on the Tomahawks, and questions remain about how they will be procured and whether Moscow will step up its rhetoric about escalating tensions, prompting a Russian response.

But Zhuravlyov issued a chilling warning, telling 60 Minutes: “We are not at war with the Polish people, but we are at war against the Rzeszów base.”

Zhuravlyov, chairman of the Rodina political party and first deputy chairman of the parliamentary defense committee, added: “If we simply shoot down these Tomahawks, [Trump] will be happy. Then he will definitely send them and they will be used for the strike. Just as we were talking here when they sent the tanks, ‘No way!’ Yes, it can.

“If we hit them, Iran, our strategic ally, with whom we have an agreement, what did it do in response to their attacks? Yes, it was, but it hit American military bases. What did the Americans do about it? Nothing. Not to mention the Houthis, they are hitting the ships, we need to show that we are ready.

“We are not at war with the Polish people, but we are at war against the Rzeszów base. Just as they say, ‘We are not at war with Iran, we are at war against its nuclear facilities.’ And we are at war against the Rzeszów base.”

Yuriy Boyechko, founder of Hope for Ukraine, which provides support to frontline communities, told Newsweek that the prospect of the United States supplying missiles to Ukraine is impossible, given that conventional launch platforms are sea-based and deployed primarily from navy ships and submarines.

Ukraine has a very small navy and the chances of acquiring a surface ship or submarine capable of launching Tomahawks are virtually zero, he said.
