Sadiq Khan says Donald Trump is “obsessed” with him after the US president repeatedly attacked the mayor of London.

To talk Policy Earlier this week, Trump branded London’s mayor “incompetent”, adding: “He’s a terrible, vicious, disgusting mayor. I think he’s done a terrible job.”

Mr Khan reacted to the comments in an appearance on LBC on Sunday (December 14), describing Trump’s latest remarks as “sticks and stones”.

“I’m a little curious and concerned about why the leader of the free world, who is facing so many challenges in the Middle East, in Ukraine, facing issues with the climate emergency, facing issues with trade, is spending time talking about me and giving the impression that he’s obsessed with me and that he wants to explain why.”
