Trump In ‘Excellent Overall Health’: White House Releases US President’s MRI Scan Results | World News

Speculations about the US President’s health continue. The White House announced the results of Donald Trump’s MRI scan, which the Republican leader had in October.
Trump was under increasing pressure to release medical test results after many Democrats, including Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, questioned his mental acuity and overall health, Politico reported. Trump also drew attention earlier this summer due to visible swelling in his ankles and bruising on the back of his right hand.
“This level of detailed evaluation is standard for an executive examination of President Trump’s age and confirms that he is in excellent general health,” White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said Monday as she read a summary from the doctor to the President that was presented to her.

Speaking at the press conference, Leavitt said the purpose of the MRI scan is “preemptive to detect any problems early.” When he read the summary, he confirmed that President Trump’s “cardiovascular imaging was completely normal” and that there was “no evidence of arterial narrowing or abnormalities of the heart or great vessels impairing blood flow.”
“The size of the heart chambers is normal. The vessel walls appear smooth and healthy, with no signs of inflammation or clotting. Overall, the cardiovascular system shows excellent health. Abdominal imaging is also completely normal. All major organs appear healthy and well-perfused. Everything evaluated is functioning within normal limits with no acute or chronic problems.” He also said:
Trump was evaluated for his cardiovascular and abdominal systems in October.
The White House has released MRI results from October for President Donald Trump, who failed to tell reporters aboard Air Force One which part of his body was scanned, as reported by Politico.
“It was just an MRI,” Trump told reporters. “What part of the body? It wasn’t the brain because I took a cognitive test and passed.”
