Pauline Hanson addresses Put Australia First protest in Melbourne; Anthony Albanese, Jodie Haydon marry at The Lodge; Hong Kong fire death toll rises

Former Nationals MP Barnaby Joyce has said he will decide “within the next few weeks” whether to join Pauline Hanson’s One Nation after quitting the National Party last week.

Asked this morning if he planned to attend the party, he said: “I’m definitely considering it and I haven’t done it yet, but look… I understand there’s going to be a lot of comments like that and I’ve got to do it, I’ll just go with it.

“But people should look at the tape. You know, when I made that brief statement in the room, Cowper member Pat Conaghan, Gippsland member Darren Chester were downstairs slapping hands and shaking hands… Actually, Pat and Darren looked happier than Jodie and Albo.
