Far-left writer condemns White MAGA voters as a doomed, bland culture

Podcaster and Substack writer Wajahat Ali lashed out at White Americans who support President Donald Trump on Friday, saying they’ve already lost the fight for America.
Trump recently used a late-night Thanksgiving post on Truth Social to outline his “reverse immigration” plan, promising a permanent halt to immigration from what he describes as “Third World Countries” and a sweeping rollback of Biden-era admissions.
Ali, who has previously condemned White culture as bland or stolen from others, responded to Trump’s comments about him. “Left Hook” podcast.
“We’re not going back. I want all the hatemongers watching this to watch this, and I hope they watch this, because I know they hate us, they’re watching us. You lost. You lost. You lost. The mistake you made was letting us in in the first place,” he said. “There’s a group of us, and we’re breeding. We’re a breeding people. And the problem is, you let us in in 1965.”

He repeatedly referenced the Hart-Celler Act (formally the Immigration and Nationality Act of 1965), saying it was a major turning point that ensured the “Browning of America.”
Ali did not shy away from his view that the culture of White American Trump supporters is bland and bland.
“I want you to realize this. You lost. You lost. White supremacists, White nationalists, you lost. You are the losers. Your story is a s—– story full of misery. Full of bland chicken. Full of terrible, terrible jerky. Your music is terrible. Your whole culture is terrible.”
He used a metaphor suggesting that America is like a house and MAGA conservatives would burn down the entire village rather than share the house.
“And that’s the vote with Trump,” he said. “So we’re not going anywhere. And if we get sent away, literally your shitty country will become the United States of America. It’ll go bankrupt.”

He declared his disdain for White supremacist “White MAGA voters,” not all White people, and called on well-intentioned Whites to confront their relatives and neighbors about their racism this holiday season.
“You need to have these difficult conversations with your White family members,” he said. “I have to say I’m sorry. People of different races say that when we’re not looking. We say, ‘Those White people, man, they should talk to their white friends.’ Your uncle Chad. Yes, he makes a great turkey, but he’s also racist. Your Aunt Karen. Yes, he’s great with kids and goes to church, but he’s also a racist. You have to have these open conversations with them.”

Later I tried to step back claiming that critics interpreted his video in a “malicious” manner, that he was merely criticizing “[W]racist supremacists and anti-immigrant hate mongers and their bland lives and crappy food,” he said, calling them “Anti-[W]hit.”
