Australian man dies after being found unconscious on balcony at a Bali hotel

An Australian man who was found unconscious on the balcony of a hotel in Bali has died.
The 30-year-old man’s girlfriend found him at his accommodation in Seminyak at around 4.15am on Wednesday and alerted hotel staff.
Denpasar Police spokesperson Gede ADI Saputra Jaya told the media that the victim was still breathing when he was found by emergency services at the hotel.
“He was unconscious when he was taken to Siloam hospital,” a spokesman said.
The man died in hospital hours later.
A police spokesman told the media the two were at a bar and returned to the hotel around 1.30am, where they then got into an argument.
The man went to sleep on the balcony before being found by his girlfriend.
“Officers are continuing a full investigation into the cause of death,” police said.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade was contacted for comment on the issue.
