President Donald Trump vowed Sunday to “avenge” the deaths of three US soldiers killed in action as the conflict involving Iran deepens in the Middle East.

“As a nation, we grieve for the true American patriots who made the ultimate sacrifice for our nation,” Trump said in a video statement posted on Truth Social.

“As we continue this auspicious mission for which they sacrificed their lives, we pray for the full recovery of the injured and send our endless love and gratitude to the families of the martyrs.”

“Unfortunately, there will probably be more before it’s over,” he added.

“America will avenge their deaths and deal the heaviest blow to the terrorists waging the war,” Trump said. “Our determination has never been stronger, and so has Israel’s determination.”

TOMAHAWKS LEADED THE US ATTACK AGAINST IRAN — WHY PRESIDENTS ARE THE FIRST TO REACH THIS MISSILE

Trump’s remarks, his first public statement since the US-Israeli attacks that killed Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and several senior Iranian officials, set the stage for a broader and potentially protracted conflict.

He also offered an assessment of battlefield damage, saying US forces had struck “hundreds of targets” inside Iran, including Revolutionary Guard facilities, air defenses and naval forces.

He added that U.S. military operations will continue “until all of our objectives are achieved.”
