Ministers, ambassadors, artists to join The Hindu’s Huddle in June

Hindu Huddle, a major event of the Hindu Group, will be held in Bengaluru on June 5 and 6.
of this year Hindu Huddle’s ‘World in Transition’ theme reflects the rapid changes occurring around us, from geopolitical shifts and AI-driven disruptions to evolving ways of learning, communicating, working and addressing mental health.
The Hindu Huddle, a marquee event of The Hindu Group, will be held in Bengaluru on June 5 and 6. It brings together meaningful discussions and conversations about this time of uncertainty, creating space for listening, reflection, and genuine exchange.
This edition will bring together leading Indian and global voices to discuss some of today’s most pressing issues, including the role of regional parties in strengthening India’s democracy, diplomacy in times of conflict, women’s representation in Parliament, the role of India and China in shaping a new global order, balancing ecological restoration and development, the use of chatbots in mental health, the impact of OTT platforms on acting careers and the future of work.

This year’s speakers at The Huddle include Union Ministers Hardeep Puri and Nitin Gadkari; Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah; Mohamed Nasheed, former President of the Maldives; Chief Economic Advisor Anantha Nageswaran; MPs Aparajita Sarangi, Thamizhachi Thangapandian, Sagarika Ghose and Shrinkant Shinde; Chinese Ambassador Xu Feihong; EU Ambassador Hervé Delphin; Brazilian Ambassador Kenneth Felix Hascynzki da Nobrega; Australian High Commissioner Philip Green; and former Ambassador Nirupama Rao; artists and curators Seema Kohli, Shilo Suleman, Abhishek Poddar and Ranvir Shah; and mental health advocates Amit Malik and Amrita Tripathi.
Sessions at universities
As in the previous edition, Hindu is also taking The Huddle to young people. The sessions were organized especially for young minds. On the way to the main event, Hindu will host mini-conventions at colleges in various cities that will host thought-provoking discussions on important issues.
