In the clip he said: ‘The obscene outfit is revealed.
‘What are you thinking? An incredibly special dress. I had to take it out and show it to you on the balcony.
‘Beyond.. So it’s actually made of something called gold cloth, I didn’t know how special it was until I did some research and it became more common in the 1920s, 1930s and it’s known to be one of the most amazing materials ever made in a way, so I can’t believe it even touched me.
‘Thank you Royal Ascot for matching my members’ badges with my dress today.
And you know how I am, there’s always a suggestive “Oh my God, did he really pick that thing?” I want the moment and this is the hat.
‘The more I shake it, the more it rings and rattles, but I think this one is really special.
‘I literally dyed my hair dark this week to complement all my outfits and I think it paid off. Vinted baby.
‘I’m running really late so I think I’ll take the tube and then the train. It’s probably not the best idea I’ve ever had, but it’s needed.
Charlotte had fun with ITV pal Mark Heyes
