While King Charles is reportedly preparing for a trip to the US, setting foot on American soil will “inevitably raise questions” about whether the King will see his son Prince Harry, who lives in Montecito, California. It was reported that the King’s visit to the USA will most likely take place in April.

If Harry is there and he isn’t, it will be a story. It’s quite a dilemma.’
Buckingham Palace confirmed that the King had a private tea with his son, the Duke of Sussex, during a visit to the royal residence in September that lasted around 50 minutes. The King’s visit to America will be accompanied by Queen Elizabeth II. It will be the first visit by a reigning British monarch since Elizabeth accepted George W. Bush’s invitation in 2007.
