Adani Group has so far invested Rs 10,000 billion in infrastructure and manufacturing sectors, among other sectors in the state.

Adani Group, led by Gautam Adani, will set up a 48-megawatt state-of-the-art AI green data center in Telangana, Adani Ports and SEZ Ltd Managing Director Karan Adani said on Monday. He added that the group will invest 2,500 million rupees for the project, PTI reported. The conglomerate has so far invested 10,000 billion rupees in infrastructure and manufacturing sectors, among others, in Telangana, he added at the opening session of the Telangana Emerging Global Summit.

Karan Adani said, “In the digital infrastructure space, Adani group is setting up a 48-megawatt green data center in Telangana with an investment of 2,500 billion rupees. This facility will be at the forefront of cutting-edge artificial intelligence, cloud technology and high-performance computing and will play a key role in meeting the needs of a rapidly digitalising India.” he said.

Investing in Telangana

In the last few years, Telangana has witnessed tremendous growth in capital infrastructure and logistics infrastructure. The group played a key role in developing roads, making logistics more efficient and positioning itself as the logistics gateway of the state. “In total, the group has so far invested around Rs 10,000 crore in building government infrastructure and manufacturing facilities in the last three years, contributing to employment generation of over 7,000 people.” he said.

According to Adani, with the goal of Atmanirbhar Bharat, the Adani Group has developed a leading defense and aerospace park in Hyderabad that manufactures UAVs, supplying products to both the Indian armed forces and the global market. More than 1,500 young people are employed in the facility.
