Kondapalli Srinivas In Germany, Switzerland

: MSME and NRI empowerment minister Kondapalli Srinivas continued his official tour in Switzerland and Germany to attract global investments to AP and build innovation partnerships.
The Minister met with Oliver Fuchs, CEO of Fuchs Design AG, one of Switzerland’s leading textile design companies, in Zurich. Fuchs has shown interest in shifting some of its production from China to India and diversifying into premium clothing.
Srinivas invited him to Andhra Pradesh, highlighting the state’s textile clusters, skilled manpower and plug-and-play industrial infrastructure. The discussion also explored design collaborations in tourism.
In another meeting, FyrstGen CEO Philipp Assmus shared plans to expand collaborations with Indian educational institutions. The minister proposed combining FyrstGen’s model with CSIR and AP universities to commercialize dormant intellectual property and support research-based initiatives in 175 MSME parks.
The interaction with Export-Akademie Baden-Württemberg focused on training Indian SMEs on export readiness and access to the European market. Both parties agreed to jointly develop online certificate programs with Andhra University.
Later, TiE Germany hosted a dinner in Frankfurt, praising AP’s industry-friendly ecosystem. TiE has pledged support for the Vizag investor meeting to be held in November.
