Trump vetoed Israeli plan to kill Iran’s supreme leader – report | US foreign policy

President Donald Trump has recently vetoed an Israeli plan to kill Iran’s high leader Ayatullah Ali Khanenei.
One of the sources, a senior US administrator, said, “Have Iranians have yet killed an American? No. We are not even talking about pursuing political leadership.”
Speaking on the condition of anonymity, officials said that the best US officials have been constantly communicating with Israeli officials since the launch of Israel’s nuclear program on Iran to stop Israel’s nuclear program.
They said that the Israelis had the opportunity to kill the best Iranian leader, but Trump shook them out of the plan.
Authorities would not say if Trump had given the message. However, Trump frequently communicates with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
When asked about the Reuters report, Netanyahu said in an interview with Fox News Channel on Sunday with Bret Baier: “There are many wrong reports that never happened and I will not enter this.”
Netanyahu, “But I can tell you, I think we do what we have to do, we will do what we have to do. And I think the United States knows what is good for the United States, Net Netanyahu said.
Trump gives hope for the restart of the US-Iran negotiations on Tehran’s nuclear program. The planned talks in Oman on Sunday were canceled as a result of strikes.
“We knew everything,” Trump told Reuters about the Israeli strikes on Friday.
