Murder charge laid over man’s death north of Broome
A woman has been charged with murder over the death of a man in a small town north of Broome in Western Australia’s Kimberley region.
Police were called to Waterbank in the early hours of Friday morning to reports of a 41-year-old man suffering serious injuries.
He was taken to Broome Hospital but died a short time later.
A 41-year-old woman was initially assisting police with investigations. Police said the two knew each other.
On Sunday, a WA Police spokesman confirmed the woman had been charged with one count of murder.
