Trans woman, 28, stalked top surgeon who carried out her gender reassignment surgery – before threatening to ‘batter’ her

A trans woman who threatened to ‘beat up’ a senior surgeon after performing gender reassignment surgery is facing jail.

Vivienne Taylor, 28, bombarded Tina Rashid with unsolicited emails and even showed up at her workplace several times claiming to have an appointment.

Westminster Magistrates’ Court heard Ms Rashid, who specializes in surgeries for trans women at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, performed Taylor’s gender reassignment surgery in 2021.

Prosecutor Jonathan Bryan told the court the surgeon noticed there were “numerous photographs” on the phone of Taylor, who was later discharged from hospital but returned after suffering “complications” that were believed to be “self-inflicted”.

‘The defendant insisted on being treated by the same surgeon. He threatened to kill himself if that surgeon didn’t take care of him,’ Mr. Bryan said.

Ms Rashid believed the matter was over when Taylor was banned from meeting her and left London the same year. But Taylor got in touch again when he returned to the capital last year.

He sent Ms Rashid a series of emails in March 2025 before asking to connect on LinkedIn and began coming to the hospital to see her in May.

Mr Bryan said: ‘He was demanding to be under the complainant’s care team.

‘Later in the month he went to the hospital saying he had an appointment with the complainant.’

Mr Bryan said Taylor showed up for the made-up appointments a further five times before sending Ms Rashid a threatening email on November 2.

The prosecutor told the court Taylor said he would “beat her and have sex with her partner”.

The court heard Taylor had a history of mental health problems and moved back to London to escape domestic violence.

The defendant admitted stalking caused serious alarm or distress at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Monday and will be sentenced at a later date.

He will also be subjected to a psychological profile and will be evaluated on probation before the sentencing hearing.
