Revanth Wishes Satheesan as Kerala CM
Hyderabad: Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Thursday welcomed the appointment of VD Satheesan as the Chief Minister of Kerala and said it was a well-deserved recognition of decades of public service and principled politics.
Revanth Reddy, who was campaigning in Kerala during the Assembly elections, said in a statement that the Telangana government looks forward to working closely with the new government of Kerala on issues of mutual interest, especially in the areas of investment promotion, skill development, tourism, knowledge exchange and cooperative federalism.
Noting that Kerala has long been a “beacon for the rest of the country” in human development, public health, literacy and grassroots democracy, Revanth Reddy expressed confidence that under Satheesan’s administration, the state will achieve greater heights in education, health, job creation and equitable growth.
“On behalf of the government and the people of Telangana, I extend my best wishes to VD Satheesan and the people of Kerala for a tenure marked by progress, prosperity and further deepening of Kerala’s proud democratic traditions,” Revanth Reddy said.
He observed that the people of Kerala, through the Assembly elections, reaffirmed their belief in the values of democracy, social justice and inclusive development by giving the UDF the mandate to govern the state.
