Two Syracuse University students face the accusation of hate crimes after saying that the authorities had thrown a bag of pork into a Jewish brotherhood house during the celebration of Rosh Hashanah on Tuesday.
Zeta Beta Tau members Allen Groves, the chief student experience officer of the New York School, met in brotherhood homes to mark the Jewish New Year, where the “deep disturbing event” took place.
A student who is not a part of the brotherhood, entered the house at around 18.00 at the house, and the brotherhood members threw meat in the dinner, Gro Groves said.
The university police said that the meat, defined as pork, was in a clear plastic bag and spread to an inner wall and ground.

“This is not a stupid university joke and will not be treated like this.” He said. He continued: “A crime for a group of Jewish students who will be treated for what is happening, who enjoy the celebration dinner and seem safe in their residence.”
