US Coast Guard seizes boat in Lynette Hooker Bahamas disappearance case
The US Coast Guard has seized the boat involved in the mysterious disappearance of Lynette Hooker in the Bahamas. His daughter, Karli Aylesworth, expressed her joy at being searched for clues in new areas. Criminal defense attorney Donna Rotunno commented on the delay in seizing the boat, noting that potential evidence may have been compromised.

A 23-year-old Kentucky man has been charged with boating while intoxicated after one of his female passengers went missing on a pontoon boat.
Cameron Conley was arrested on drunken boating charges Wednesday after warning Grayson Lake Marina staff that 19-year-old Marly Kinney was no longer on his boat and he couldn’t find her.
Kentucky State Police and the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources were called to assist in the search. FOX 56 reported.

When state troopers arrived, they said they smelled alcohol on Conley’s breath and asked him if he had been drinking. Conley admitted to drinking and consented to a breath test, according to court records obtained by FOX 56.
Conley’s blood alcohol content was measured at 0.137, nearly twice the legal limit in Kentucky. Twenty minutes later it blew 0.135, according to officials.
Conley was arrested and taken to the Carter County Detention Center and later released.

Lt. Chris Mulholland of the Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources said Kinney had been missing since 4 p.m. Wednesday. WSAZ.

Mulholland said Kinney was on the boat with multiple people and they were not sure when he got off.
Officials from multiple agencies are searching for him both at the lake and along the surrounding trails. They are using sonar, K9 teams and drones with thermal detectors in hopes of locating him as quickly as possible.

A group of 50 volunteers joined efforts to search for Kinney along the lakeshore, authorities said Friday, and occasional rain hindered the search, according to WSAZ.
Kinney’s family released a statement to WSAZ, thanking law enforcement and first responders for continuing to search for the young woman.
“We don’t even know how to express our absolute gratitude to all of you. We remain confident that he will be found and brought back to us. We know we have the best people who did their best to bring him home,” the statement said.

Kinney’s sister, Willow VanHoose, posted photos of him on Thursday and described what he was wearing at the time of his disappearance.
“She was wearing a strapless pink-orange bikini and probably no shoes. She wore gold jewelry and often wore a dainty gold cross necklace,” she wrote on Facebook. “She has many tattoos; a sword on her side, a spider circling her hip, butterflies on her arm, a tiger on her arm, and fairies on her shoulder.”

As the search entered its third day, there was no more meaningful progress from crews in the field, according to Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources spokeswoman Lisa Jackson.
“I have learned that there is no new update from our game wardens on the scene. As weather conditions in the area change throughout the day, searches continue as long as weather permits,” Jackson said in a statement to Fox News on Saturday morning.
