Mick Jagger, 82, and fiancée Melanie Hamrick, 38, reunite with the rocker’s exes Bianca, 80, and Jerry Hall, 69, at star-studded British Museum Ball

Mick Jagger and his fiancée Melanie Hamrick were joined by two of the rocker’s famous exes at the star-studded British Museum Ball in London on Saturday evening.

The Rolling Stones legend, 82, rubbed shoulders with ex-wife Bianca, 80, and ex-partner Jerry Hall, 69, and was joined by their daughter Elizabeth, 41.

Bianca was married to Mick from 1971 to 1978 and together they are parents to daughter Jade, 53. Meanwhile, Jerry was her long-term partner from 1977 to 1999 and they share Elizabeth, James, 40, Georgina, 33, and Gabriel, 39.

The Paint It Black hitmaker looked dapper in a dark suit alongside his fiancee Melanie, 38, and dazzled in a gold floral dress.

Former model Bianca looked extremely stylish in a cream-coloured three-piece suit, which she combined with a fedora hat while walking with the help of a cane.

Jerry also looked incredible in a flowing black dress that hugged her age-defying figure, which she complemented with a dramatic red feathered coat.

Mick and Jerry were seen embracing and sharing a friendly kiss before taking their turn to pose on the red carpet alongside their eldest daughter.

The Rolling Stone star and ballerina Melanie have been together since 2014 and welcomed a son, Deveraux Octavian Basil, in 2016; this was her first child and Mick’s eighth child.

The former dancer announced in 2024 that she and the rocker had been engaged for several years, but were in no rush to get married.

Bianca is Mick’s first and only legal wife.

Bianca and Mick were the toast of New York in the 1970s, partying with Halston and Diana Ross.

Bianca, who filed for divorce from model Jerry on the grounds of adultery in May 1978, later said, “My marriage ended on my wedding day.”

Their daughter Jade has previously admitted that having famous parents is a ‘hindrance’ as she often receives ‘horrible’ comments from people.

Jerry was Mick’s long-term partner from 1977 to 1999 and they share children Elizabeth, James, 40, Georgina, 33, and Gabriel, 39.

The jewelery designer said: ‘So it’s a disability, I was Googling something the other day and I found this terrible, tragic piece about me that said “she can do whatever she wants” and it’s so depressing when you’ve worked your whole life to try and achieve something.’

Jade admitted that she admires her parents’ successful careers because it gives her something to ‘look up to’ and try to achieve in her own life.

He explained: ‘But at the same time, seeing what my parents have done always pushes you towards something higher and almost unattainable. ‘I’m trying to talk myself out of thinking that’s my goal, because I think it could leave you with heartache, because I’m definitely not going to be jumping around on stage in the pouring rain… I have my limits!’

Meanwhile, Mick and Jerry, who met in 1976, were never officially married during their 22-year relationship.

However, they had an unofficial marriage ceremony in Bali in 1990, but this was declared invalid by the UK high court following their separation.

After filing for divorce in 1999, they became embroiled in a legal battle over whether their 1990 Bali wedding ceremony was official. Her split from Mick left her with an estimated compensation of up to $22 million.

The former supermodel, who was born in Texas, said she thought her marriage was ‘valid’ and as a result, the couple should file for official divorce.

However, a UK high court judge declared that the ceremony was not valid under British or Indonesian law and therefore the marriage was invalid.

In 2005, Jerry revealed his feelings about Jagger’s alleged womanizing during their relationship.

She told the Evening Standard that he ‘forgave and forgave and forgave and forgave, to the point where it wasn’t healthy at all’, adding: ‘Of course he wasn’t a great husband and I could complain and grumble but I guess that’s old hat.’

She also admitted that she ‘still loved’ Mick at the time but their relationship was so ‘unhealthy’ that it left her ‘very depressed’ and ‘unhappy’.

‘I still love him. But this made me very unhappy. “I couldn’t do anything because I felt so depressed,” he said. ‘If you’re in an unhealthy relationship, it’s bad for your self-esteem. You have so many ups and downs that you can’t be consistent…’

Jerry insisted in a 2008 interview with Psychologies magazine that he would never want his daughters to date a man like Jagger.

He said: ‘No, never. But I don’t think they will do that. They have much more self-confidence than I do and have huge boundaries. It took me longer to learn these things.’

The model admitted that she put up with the star’s behavior for too long.

He said: ‘I always thought he would change and that was my big mistake. People don’t change unless they really want to, and neither can you.

‘I probably stayed with him longer than I should have. All I could say was that I really loved her, and despite other women, she really loved me too.’

Jerry reportedly ended his relationship with Mick after having a child with Brazilian model Luciana Gimenez, but the former couple remain close friends.
