Ravi Shastri demands bigger ICC revenue share, Rs 19680000000 ‘not enough’ for India’s contribution

Ravi Shastri argued that both India and BCCI rightly deserve significant parts of the ICC’s income.

The Cricket Control Board in India (BCCI) takes the largest part of the International Cricket Council (ICC) income compared to all other cricket boards, which have been widely discussed in recent years. According to the latest regulatory model, BCCI is allocated to 38.5 percent (approximately 1,968 RS) of the ICC’s total revenue, and the Indian team is globally most popular and displayed. Former Indian cricket player and head coach Ravi Shastri supported this allocation, arguing that India deserves an even greater part of income.

The revenue distribution model, which emerged in 2023, fired the conversations in the Christmas community, and several boards increased concerns about unequal distribution. The remaining 12 percent of the income is shared among the other nine jacks.

Shastri emphasized that the income share should reflect the generated income and stressed that the jricket plays an important role in worldwide earnings through India’s television rights and serial revenues.

“I want more for India because most of the money produced comes from India. So it’s fair to get a share of the pound meat.

Relative, economies can be another powerful economy tomorrow. Money can come from there in the 70s, the 80s, and the pile of money went to another place. I think it’s just fair and just on your trip to India, when you look at television rights, look at the television revenue for an Indian series. So it’s just fair to buy it. In an interview with Wisden, Shastri said, no matter what, no more, dedi he said.

The BCCI became the richest globally richest committee and became an important part of the Indian Cricket publication. Due to the country’s population of approximately 1.5 billion and the enormous popularity of the cricket, the audience of the sport is significantly influenced by the presence of India, cricket teams and players.

Currently, India is joining a five -game test series against British for British reasons.
