Endowment Inspector Held in Rs.1.50 Lakh Bribe Case in Hyderabad

ACB officials said Kumar demanded an amount of Rs 1.50 lakh and agreed to partial payment of Rs. 50,000 from the complainant for doing an official favour. According to the statement made by ACB, the bribe was requested for providing an investigation report to the complainant regarding the land containing land in survey number 616 in Bagh Amberpet under RC No. E/944/2021.

Kumar works in the office of Deputy Commissioner of Endowment department. It was stated that the tainted bribe amount of Rs 50,000 was seized from the arrested person. ACB officials produced Kumar before the special court for ACB cases, following which the court sent him to judicial custody. The complainant’s details have been kept secret for security reasons.
