Two people arrested after fatal incident on Carinya Street
Two men have been arrested after crashing into a car used to flee the scene of an alleged deadly daylight shooting in Sydney’s west.
Emergency services were called to the scene following the shooting on Carinya Street in Blacktown at around 11.50am on Friday.

A man believed to be in his 20s was shot in the neck, chest and leg and died at the scene.
Police attempted to stop a Ute seen leaving the scene and pursued the vehicle until it crashed onto nearby Kildare Road.
The two people who escaped from the accident were caught a short time later.
They were taken to nearby Blacktown Police Station.

Police said there was no ongoing threat to the public but urged people to avoid the area due to the ongoing operation.
