Trump’s ‘big, beautiful bill’ clears key Senate hurdle

On Saturday, the Senate cleared President Donald Trump’s “big, beautiful bill” to advance a significant procedure obstacle and brought great spending legislation one step closer to the transition after weeks.

Senate Vote John Thune, the leader of the Republican majority, supported the offer to take the bill to Trump’s desk until July 4th. However, this was not without drama.
