David James Pye: Trial of ex-Comanchero to begin over alleged murder-for-hire of Rebels kingpin Nick Martin

That’s about to change as accused murder master David James Pye appears in the Supreme Court on Monday for WA’s biggest underworld trial to date.
The 43-year-old man is accused of inciting a sniper to carry out the attack and paying him a six-figure fee for the contract killing. After the job was completed, he allegedly offered another $800,000 for the removal of fellow exiled Comanchero Ray Cilli.
ID hit man Who killed Martin remains a closely guarded secret. In 2021, he was sentenced to 20 years in prison in exchange for testifying against Pye, who maintained his innocence.
