Amy Hunt says murder of her mother and sisters ‘rooted in misogyny’ | UK news

Amy Hunt, who was killed in their homes last year, said that the attack was “based on the hostility of women ve and called for radical social changes to address women and young girls.
Amy’s mother 61 -year -old Carol and 28 -year -old sisters Hannah and 25 -year -old Louise were killed in July by her former partner Kyle Clifford.
Three women were the wife and daughters of BBC race commentator John Hunt.
Clifford, 26, stabbed Carol in a deadly way after following Enfield in North London, under the allegation that he brought some of his former partner’s belongings to his home in Hertfordshire.
He then waited for Louise to arrive before raping him and using a Tatar spring to hit him and Hannah.
Speaking in his first interviews to the BBC since the murders, Amy said, “All kinds of violence against women and girls do not have to be so disasters, because it happens in small ways every day.
“As a society, we have a serious obligation to change the behavior of men because it is a male issue – this is not a woman’s problem.”
He asked whether Clifford’s attack was fueled by the social media content of Andrew Tate, whom he watched his videos in the days before the murders: “I think it was ridiculous to say that Kyle Cliffford could not murder, watching Andrew Tate and having murder and rape.
“In many cases, we live in the society that strengthens the enmity of women and allows inflammation of women. This is not only Andrew Tate, but also on social media, Andrew Tate’s subsets.”
“Try to find the power to save yourself from this, because you deserve much better.”
John asked young men to start studying about the hostility of women as early as nursery.
He said: “I think the explanation of schools should have much freedom to make young men treat women at the earliest possible age.
John told Hannah and Clifford’s media reports claiming that they had a “abusive konu relationship as“ malicious ”and“ scale wrong ”.
Clifford said, “He violated us and our family in the most terrible ways, but what these stories feel is a constant violation.”
Amy, who thinks about her mother and sisters, said, “They are the representation of everything that is good.
“They worked hard, they were loved, they had fun, they traveled, they went and they did what they loved, they spent time with the people they loved, gentle, kind, thoughtful.
“Your sisters do not stop being your mother, when they pass. I will always be one of the three sisters, we will always be a family of five people.”
