FSSAI Chief Orders 100% Packaged Water Inspection, Swift Action amid Rising Food Poisoning Cases

Haydarabad: The Grip Vardhana Rao, who needs urgent control of packaged drinking water (PDW) units and meticulous controls on water treatment plants, chaired the General Manager of the Indian Food Safety and Standards Authority (FSSAI), and focused on strengthening the general food safety ecosystem.
This is influenced by food poisoning cases of housing schools in the state and students continue to be affected by serious food safety protocols. The State Food Safety Department, under the care of the Health Secretary Dr Christina Chongthu, cannot provide detailed reports of audits at the Education Institutes.
Emphasizing the need for advanced food safety application, CEO Vardhana Rao led the authorities to scalaning sample sample, to undertake risk -based inspections and to provide rapid action against food. In accordance with the 2006 Food Safety and Standards (FSS) law, he preferably underlined the importance of the timely trial of food safety cases in 90 days.
Additional Regional Magistrates’ Judges, senior officials appointed as trial officers and 50 Food Security Officers (FSO) from 33 regions attended the meeting and talked about the government’s attempts to expand food safety. In addition, mobile food test laboratories will be more frequently to be more frequently for real -time monitoring and developing field level.
The CEO also urged the establishment of the Food Safety Laboratory in Haydarabad to quickly monitor the establishment and provided full support from FSSAI. This initiative is expected to significantly increase the food test capacity of the state.
