Casemiro: Man Utd’s Brazil midfielder to leave club this summer

Manchester United The midfielder said that Casemiro will leave the club when his contract expires at the end of this season.
The 33-year-old player was transferred from Real Madrid for £ 70 million in 2022 and played in 146 matches.
While Manchester United finished their first season in third place in the Premier League, he scored the first goal against Newcastle in the 2023 Carabao Cup final.
But last year the team’s new co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe referred to him as saying some players were “not good enough” and “overpaid”.
The Brazilian football player said: “I will carry Manchester United with me throughout my life.
“This is not the time to say goodbye; there are many more memories to be created over the next four months.
“We still have a lot to fight for together; my full focus is, as always, on continuing to give my all to help our club succeed.”
