This week, Reliance Industries earned Rs 28,282.86 crore in just 5 days (Monday to Friday) after RIL shares rose 1.70 percent. During this period, the BSE index increased by 474.75 points, or 0.55 percent. On Thursday, Sensex touched a record high of 86,055.86.

Reliance Industries added 28,282.86 billion rupees, taking its market capitalization to 21,20,335.47 billion rupees. Shares of Ambani’s flagship company closed at Rs 1,569 on Friday. Recently, RIL market capitalization (mcap) crossed the Rs 21 lakh crore mark.

Mcap of the top 7 companies

The aggregate market valuation of seven of the 10 most valuable firms rose to Rs 96,200.95 crore this week; Reliance Industries and Bajaj Finance captured this rise along with the optimistic trend in stocks. Bajaj Finance’s valuation increased by 20,347.52 billion rupees to 6,45,676.11 billion rupees.

Among the companies in the top 10, Reliance, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, State Bank of India (SBI), Infosys, Bajaj Finance and Hindustan Unilever were the winners, while Sunil Mittal’s Bharti Airtel, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) and Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) faced erosion in their valuations.

Reliance Industries led the list of top 10 companies, followed by HDFC Bank, Bharti Airtel, TCS, ICICI Bank, State Bank of India, Infosys, Bajaj Finance, Hindustan Unilever and LIC.
