Tamilnadu to organise curriculum fair to study innovative design and delivery

Tamil Nadu Government will organize a biennial curriculum to examine innovative practices in the Higher Education Department, Curriculum design and delivery.
As part of the fair, a five -member team will review the existing curriculum on various issues offered by state universities and compare them with people in some national and international comparison institutions. The results will then be compiled as a paper and will be presented in a workshop for verification and scanning. The expert committee will include senior academicians and field experts.
Tamil Nadu State Council (TANSCHE) Deputy Deputy Vijayakumar said, “We will document and publish the best practices followed by different universities and make it used as a source of information to all state institutions,” he said. A GO, which was published at the beginning of last month, said that the main purpose of the fair was to define, recognize and spread and promote the exchange of information and exchange of information between institutions. This will also provide a platform for teachers, students and academics to contribute to the evolution of the curriculum.
Many institutions with GO may have placed the best practices in class operations, student -centered pedagogy and evaluation strategies. The fair will help to spread these applications wider.
Vijayakumar, this year, the issues selected for the analysis of the curriculum physics, zoology, electronics and communication engineering and mechanical engineering, he said.
The fair will be held separately for the education of regional level and state level – and universities for the education of teachers and teachers.
The state government allocated ₹ 20 lakh to organize the fair this year.
