Tara Reid resurfaces in LA months after investigation into her drink-spiking allegation at hotel was closed

Tara Reid has appeared publicly for the first time since the investigation into claims her drink was spiked at the hotel bar was closed three months ago.

Police did not say Reid’s allegations were false but said they did not have enough evidence to move forward.

Speaking exclusively to the Daily Mail about the incident in December, Reid appeared in good spirits as he stepped into Los Angeles on Monday.

The actor was joined by fellow musician Tina Win.

Reid had a wide smile on his face when he and his friend arrived at a restaurant where they were dining al fresco.

She wore a pink and gold satin zip-up jacket, which she paired with distressed skinny jeans and pink high-top sneakers with silver studs.

She had her signature bleached blonde hair and was wearing full make-up.

On December 17, 2025, the Rosemont Police Department released a statement. TMZ He confirmed that they would close the investigation into allegations that Reid had spiked drinks.

‘Seeing the media twist my words and attack me for not remembering is incredibly painful and is seriously affecting my mental health.

‘I feel bullied and judged for something I can’t remember. I’m trying to heal but the public scrutiny is making it very difficult and I’ve been afraid to even leave my house.

‘Nobody gets hospitalized for nearly eleven hours for drinking wine alone. I didn’t take any medication that day and I know something is wrong.

‘It doesn’t matter if I drink any more after this, the truth is I don’t remember anything.’

Reid went on to ask for ‘privacy, compassion and space to heal.’ He added: ‘I shared the only truth I had, what I remembered and what I felt.’

In footage obtained by TMZ from the night, Reid was speaking incoherently and appeared to be slipping out of his wheelchair in the lobby and was helped into the chair before paramedics took him away on a stretcher.

In a police report filed at the time, Reid said he was in the lobby with “a group of” YouTubers and that “everything felt suspicious” because most of them had their “phones off.”

She claimed in the report that when she returned after going out with one of the men, she found “a napkin on my drink.”
