Tata Electronics strikes Intel deal to build India’s chip supply chain

Tata Electronics appointed American chip designer Intel As a division of Mumbai-based conglomerate Tata Group, it is working to expand India’s domestic electronics and semiconductor supply chain as a potential customer.

Under the MoU, the companies will explore manufacturing and packaging of Intel products for local markets at Tata Electronics’ upcoming facilities.

Intel and Tata also plan to evaluate ways to quickly scale customized AI computing solutions for consumers and businesses in India.
