Child hit by train at station in Brisbane’s north
A child was hit by a train at a railway station on Brisbane’s north side.
Police said they were called to the police station in Carseldine, about 15km north of the CBD, just before 6pm on Saturday.
It was stated that the child was taken to Queensland Children’s Hospital and his life was in danger.

Translink said train services to Caboolture, the Sunshine Coast and the Redcliffe Peninsula were suspended between Geebung and Petrie.
They said services resumed at 7.28pm, but passengers may experience delays of up to an hour.
Police said they are continuing to investigate what happened.
