Tata Trusts to discuss keeping Tata Sons private and Chandrasekaran’s third term at May meet

Sir Dorabji Tata Trust (SDTT) and Sir Ratan Tata Trust (SRTT), the two parent entities of Tata Trusts, hold 27.98% and 23.56% shares of Tata Sons, respectively. Noel Tata, two vice-chairmen, retired TVS Motor Corp Chairman Venu Srinivasan, retired defense minister Vijay Singh and Mumbai lawyer Darius Khambata are trustees of both. Former Titan Industries chief Bhaskar Bhat and Noel’s son Neville Tata are members of SDTT’s Board of Trustees, while Ratan Tata’s brother Jimmy Tata and Jehangir HC Jehangir, a philanthropist from Pune, are members of SRTT.
