Teacher banned from the classroom after encouraging pupil to perform sex act on him

A teacher who encouraged a “vulnerable ı young student on a sex action was banned indefinitely from the class.
Jason Harrison also worked at Notre Dame High School in February 2019 inappropriate.
The court, 35 -year -old Harrison, who joined the Sheffield School in September 2015, could not warn the staff about the incident.
Among the documentary and verbal evidence presented, the student’s mother gave a witness statement in August 2019. Harrison said, “He pushed him to the ground and ‘he’d only take ten seconds’.
After proved a number of “serious” claims, Harrison was found guilty of unacceptable professional behavior and violated more than one professional standards.
The panel added that the 35 -year -old child showed “complete insight and lack of regret ,, instead that he could not recognize the“ destructive ”effect on the student and his family, and that he chose to focus on how he was affected by the incident. He said: “The fact that Mr. Harrison is not responsible for his actions offers evidence of a real risk of recurrence.”
The court said: “The panel made very serious findings that Mr. Harrison engaged in sexual behavior with the student A and his actions were sexually motivated.”
As a result, Harrison was banned from teaching without the opportunity to overthrow the decision.
A decision published on behalf of the Education Secretary last month: “Abuse is particularly serious because they contain a vulnerable student who is a child and a teacher who participated in sexual activity.”
“This means that Mr. Jason Harrison is forbidden to teach indefinitely and cannot teach at any school, at the sixth form college, relevant youth accommodation or in the UK.
“Moreover, given the seriousness of the allegations proved against him, I decided that Mr. Harrison would not have the right to resort to the restoration of his suitability for teaching.”
Harrison rejected the allegations did not appear at the hearing.
