Techie Dies By Suicide In Kukatpally

Hyderabad: A 26-year-old software worker from Kukatpally was found dead on Monday. The victim, T. Vijaylakshmi, had gone missing two days ago and a missing case had been registered at Kukatpally police station earlier.

Kukatpally Superintendent V. Subba Rao informed that Vijaylaxmi was undergoing psychiatric treatment in a private hospital for a month. Police said browsing history on his computer showed he was looking for ways to die by suicide.

Vijaylaxmi’s cousin had filed a complaint with the police, stating that she had told her mother that she would go to her mother on the morning of January 31 and would return two days later without specifying a specific place. When her mother tried to call her later, she was unreachable.

On Monday, a woman found his body and called the Lake police, who in turn informed the Kukatpally police. His body was recovered and sent to Gandhi morgue for autopsy.

Police also said that Vijaylaxmi’s parents were divorced and her mother was suffering from mental illness. It was reported that Vijaylaxmi was the only one taking care of her mother.
