In a recent interview, Mohammed Shami expressed his thoughts sincerely when he was asked whether India would compete against Pakistan in 2025 in the upcoming Asian Cup. Although he was left out of the last squad, Shami gave a clear response.

Shami also said that playing a match against Pakistan is definitely different from competing against other teams.
“Playing Pakistan is different because of admiration, but about performance for players,” he said.
