Teenager shot in the neck in drive-by shooting at Logan

A teenager was shot in the neck by drive-by attackers south of Brisbane.

The 18-year-old man, along with a 20-year-old woman, was hospitalized following a shooting that occurred around 1:20 a.m. Friday at a townhouse on Baileys Lane in Logan, Park Ridge.

The two escaped attackers fired eight shots at the house from a moving vehicle.

The man was taken to Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane. His condition was serious but stable.

The woman, who was shot in the foot during the incident, was taken to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Both are in stable condition.

The gunshots woke a neighbor in suburban Park Ridge, who told Nine News of his fears.

“It’s scary… you can’t play with these things like guns… you don’t know where the bullets are coming from,” he said.

Police said investigations into the incident were ongoing, but the attack was believed to be targeted and there was no threat to the public.
