Telangana government orders CBI probe into Kaleshwaram project irregularities

TaLangana Prime Minister A. Revanth Redy, Kaleshwaram elevator irrigation project alleged irregularities in the Central Investigation Bureau (CBI) announced.

During the discussion, Mr. Redy accused the previous BRS regime of “filling public money” through the project. Kaleshwaram Corporation borrowed 85,449 Crore for the project, including 11.5% interest from PFC, 27,738 Crore and 12% interest from other lenders.

Mr. Redy also claimed that the former cm K. Chandrashekhar Rao shifted his location from Tumididhatti to Medigadda and that the change in technology was later influenced by the Minister of Irrigation T. Harish Rao.
