Telangana Wildlife Board Declines Ethanol Plant in Tiger Corridor

Haydarabad: The proposal to establish a ethanol production facility adjacent to the forests in the Kaplan corridor planned in the KB Asifabad region was rejected by the TELANGANA Wildlife Board (TGBWL) at the meeting on Monday.

Although there are some discussions about the possible alternative location for the facility near Metpalle, which is very close to the corridor forests, TGBWL decided not to approve the proposal at the meeting under the chairmanship of Forests and Environmental Minister Konda Efececekha.

Among the other decisions taken by the Board, he approved one of the six proposed forests to his tribal habits and rejected five when they tried to connect to unauthorized tribal settlements. At the meeting, a small forest land patch in the Mulugu region for the establishment of a community health center and some optical fiber cable upholstery offers were completed.
