Center for Women Entrepreneurs in Hyderabad or WE Hub, the State-led nodal agency for women entrepreneurs, has signed MoUs with over 20 academic institutions in Telangana to roll out the ‘campus to career’ initiative to bridge the gap between education and employability.
Its CEO, Sita Pallacholla, said this flagship student-focused intervention aimed at developing the youth workforce will be implemented to strengthen the industry readiness, employability and career paths of female students in the state.
According to the CEO, the campus-to-career initiative aligns with the government’s budget emphasis on strengthening higher education outcomes, skilling young people for the industries of the future, and building a resilient, future-ready workforce.
Through structured academic partnerships, WE Hub will enable universities to integrate industry exposure, mentorship and skills-based learning directly into their campus ecosystems, ensuring students graduate not only with degrees but also with direction.
“The last Union Budget underlines a strong commitment to youth empowerment, education and workforce readiness. WE Enable sits right at this intersection, where policy intent meets impact on the ground. Through campus-to-career transition, we ensure that young women are not only educated but also equipped with the skills, visibility and confidence to lead Telangana’s future workforce,” he said.
