Telethon: Build Now Foundation unveils new bathroom haven for brave Noah Johnson

During a tiring cancer treatment that left the third -degree burn on his back, firing and unable to walk, it was a bath where Noah Johnson was consoled.

When Noah is diagnosed with Ewing sarcoma only at the age of 11, treatment needs 31 rounds of radiation and 14 rounds of chemotherapy.

Noah, sitting in a radiation hospital bath, burning the size of a dinner plate and a thin image image, last year you could see the spine -touch hearts, because Teethon broke a record of 83.3 million dollars for sick children.

A hot bath became a paradise for a 13-year-old child during treatment-an area where any child can leave a reality that should not meet.

However, the bathroom in his family’s house was so small that he would not even come to the waist.

Thanks to the Bust Now Foundation, an non -profit organization inspired by Telethon, a new bath, including a deep bath, was opened for Noah to help WA families.

Philanthropy supports families in need, including making houses more accessible for disabled children or creating a fun space for a sick child.

Noah could not erase his face because he had a pillow and a conservative for the iPad while he was passing his first bubble bath in the new bathroom.

Noah said, “The bathrooms helped me. They meant a lot because it was my comfort area and nobody would bother me when I was in the bathroom,” he said.

“The old bathroom was small and it would make me itchy.

“This bathroom is really great and what kind of pillow I love to rest. I love him.”

There are also advantages for the rest of his family in the bathroom, any shelving, including a new rain shower head that Noah could fit under his step price.

“Noah took that burn on his back while he was a bitch and found a love to take a bath because he dropped his warmth and took him out of the region,” he said.

“If he didn’t feel good, he would go into the bathroom and stay there for hours.

“Now it is surprising that the Building Foundation arrives and help us and make a new bath for which it can fit into it.”

Noah, with the hair mat, only seven months ago, chemotherapy and radiation used to treat cancer leaves it very weak to walk, and the weight fell only to 35kg.

Now he can be a child again and he celebrates six months in remission on June 11th.

Noah said he was happy to go to school more and see his friends, but he missed to complain about Perth Children’s Hospital nurses.

Step -man man Jenkins said that the family could finally smile again and that Noah had admitted that there was no happy moments when he was treated in 2024.

“He still gets too much muscle fatigue, but he gets back his appetite and backing up his muscle,” he said.

“Last year, there was a job, hospital, treatment, fire, test routine – trying to cheer him up in the dumps and trying to maintain ourselves.

“Now we can smile again. There was not much smile last year, but it’s great to get out of the other side.”

The Build Now Foundation Founder Stephen Mansfield, which is also part of the Telethon Home Builder Organization Group, said Fit-Out’s local community, which helps to collect funds of Fit-Out.

“It is incredibly incredible to go in and make all your bathrooms again and relieve all their bathrooms, to relax, to have fun and to be just a child and to enjoy that time.

Telethon will be held on 18 and 19 October.
