This is the terrifying moment a train passenger attacked strangers with a bottle.

Footage released by British Transport Police on Thursday (December 11) shows a drunken Thomas Craig stabbing a man with a broken Buckfast bottle on a train from Glasgow Queen Street to Perth on February 16, 2024.

The man was left to fight for his life.

Craig, 48, of Walton Street, East Renfrewshire, was found guilty of attempted murder and serious assault on November 28 following a four-day trial.

He will be sentenced in January.
