Terrifying ‘Tilt’ Rollercoaster Malfunctions Leaving Riders Dangling 130 Feet in the Air

Two riders were left “stranded” and suspended more than 30 meters in the air after a terrifying ’tilted’ rollercoaster stopped mid-ride on Wednesday night. A journalist representing the men claimed they were hung at a 90-degree angle for “about an hour” before emergency services freed them. The incident occurred on Wednesday, December 17, at the Circuit of the Americas (COTA) sports complex in Travis County, Texas, approximately 15 miles outside of Austin. Besides its racing tracks, COTA also has its own amusement park: COTALAND.
