King recently underwent a groundbreaking, non-invasive procedure that uses sound waves directed at the brain to relieve his symptoms, which he happily reveals has given him the ability to write again and stopped the tremors on his right side.

He said: ‘I feel good. ‘I can write my name and dates and I can write with my right hand for the first time in probably three years.’

WHAT IS PARKINSON’S DISEASE?

Parkinson’s disease affects one in 500 people and around 127,000 people in the UK are living with the disease.

The numbers also show that one million Americans are suffering.

It causes muscle stiffness, slowness of movement, tremors, sleep disturbance, chronic fatigue, deterioration in quality of life, and can lead to serious disabilities.

It is a progressive neurological condition that destroys cells in the part of the brain that controls movement.

It is known that patients’ dopamine sources are reduced because the nerve cells that provide dopamine have died.

There is currently no cure for the disease or any way to stop its progression, but hundreds of scientific studies are being conducted to change this.

The disease claimed the lives of boxing legend Muhammad Ali in 2016 and Ozzy Osbourne in 2025.

King explained that his first symptoms appeared around 2012, manifesting as numbness in his left foot, which turned into a limp.

His doctor thought the limp was due to working out too much, but King said his personal trainer noticed that his left arm “wasn’t swinging as much as his right arm” during some exercises.

King, who shares her five children with Crews, said she noticed her hand shaking while applying lip gloss and immediately recognized it as a tremor due to “my grandmother’s tremors.”

The musician claimed his doctor attributed his tremors to anxiety; It wasn’t until three years later and with the help of a Parkinson’s specialist that he was officially diagnosed.

Crews emotionally said about his wife: ‘When they say sickness and health, that is the battle we are designed to fight together. Where he is weak, I am strong. Where I am weak, he is strong. And that’s how we’ve built each other up for almost 37 years and forever.’

King previously battled breast cancer in 2020 and underwent a double mastectomy.

he said People:’I’m doing 90 percent of what I want to do. Terry is my rock. And I thank God for taking care of me and allowing me to go to doctors and get the procedures I need.

‘God said to me, ‘Keep living, Rebecca. “He said, ‘Continue to live as if you’re healed.'”

‘I couldn’t even write my name or fill out a form’ [due to the tremors]. But now I can.”

The teams added:’“My job is to make sure he gets the best care possible,” he says, and continues: “Where he is weak, I am strong. ‘There are days when there is nothing I can do and I have to hold her while she cries in my arms.’

Both Crews and King have been vocal about their marital struggles in recent years, and in 2021, the White Chicks star admitted that her porn addiction nearly destroyed their relationship.

When asked about the secret to a long-lasting marriage, King previously said: ‘You have to make sure you get what you want and they get what they want. One of the reasons I was able to stay in my marriage was because I knew what I wanted when I got married.

‘I knew I wanted a certain life and it turned out he wanted what I wanted too.

‘Sometimes people fall in love with people who don’t want what they want, who don’t want the same thing. One wants children, the other doesn’t. This is a recipe for disaster.

“I hate to say it felt like a job interview, but it really did for me, it was like a sign for me to know that Terry’s goals were very close to mine,” he added.

‘It was difficult and my husband spoke openly about the problems he was having, but at heart Terry was a good man and my friend.’
