Tesla gets around 600 orders since India launch, Bloomberg News reports
(Reuters) -Tesla has received orders for more than 600 cars since it started sales in India in mid -July, which is below the company’s own expectations, referring to people who were familiar with the issue on Tuesday.
Ev Maker, led by Bloomberg News, Elon Musk, plans to send 350 to 500 cars to India this year.

Deliveries will be limited to Mumbai, Delhi, Pune and Pride, in the report, the addition of the size of shipments is based on all the payments it receives for cars and the ability of the company to surrender out of the four cities with a physical asset.
The Reuters could not confirm the report immediately. Tesla did not respond immediately to a Reuters comment request.
In July, Tesla launched a model Y car in India for about $ 70,000, which reflects the country’s high tariffs on imported homes. The US home manufacturer has long lobbying India for lower import tariffs in cars.
Tesla, who faced excessive capacity in global factories and decreased sales, adopted a strategy of selling imported vehicles in India despite tasks and taxes.
The automobile manufacturer of deliveries, which is estimated to start from the third quarter, aims to a niche segment of the local automobile market, where only 4% of the general sales.
